Home automation

Everything that opens, closes, shades or protects

New installs, retrofits to what you already have, and repairs on most brands. Whatever it is, we'll make it work and make it work together.

One app, whole house

Stop juggling seven apps and a drawer full of remotes

We tie your gate, garage, awnings, blinds, shutters, lights, climate and alarm into a single system, then build scenes around how your household actually lives.

  • Arrive home: gate and garage open, lights on, alarm off, from the end of the street.
  • Good night: everything closed, shutters down, alarm armed, one tap from bed.
  • Away: random lights and shutters so the house looks lived-in.
  • Storm coming: awnings in, shutters down, before the first gust.

How it works

From first call to the handover, one team

  1. 01

    Talk it through

Tell us what you want to automate, fix or improve. Photos help. We'll give you an honest idea of what's possible.

  2. 02

    Site visit & design

We look at the gate, doors, windows and network, then design a system that fits the house and your routine.

  3. 03

    Clean install

Installed, wired and tested by our own team, with safety devices set up and the mess cleaned up.

  4. 04

    Handover & support

We show everyone how it works, set up the app and stay on call for servicing, changes and upgrades.

Since 1989

No ads, no call centre. Just referrals, since 1989.

We've been registered and working since 1989, and almost every job still comes from someone who recommended us to a neighbour, a relative or a builder. That only happens when the work lasts and the phone gets answered.

The technology has changed a lot since then. The way we work hasn't: turn up when we say, do it properly, and be there when you need us later.

Questions

Quick answers

Do you only work on systems you installed?

No. We repair, service and upgrade gate motors, garage openers, shutters, awnings, alarms and intercoms from most common brands, whoever put them in.

Can you automate what I already have?

Very often, yes. Existing gates, garage doors, roller shutters, awnings and some blinds can be motorised without replacing them. We'll check on site and tell you straight what's worth doing.

Can everything be controlled from one app?

Yes. That's what we do best. With a smart hub, your gate, garage, blinds, shutters, lights, climate and alarm can live in one app, with scenes that run several actions at once.

What happens in a blackout?

Battery backup can be fitted to gates, garage openers and alarm systems, and every motor we install has a manual override. Where the hub supports it, the system also keeps running locally without the internet.

Is a smart home a security risk?

Not when it's set up properly. As an IT business, we put smart devices on their own network segment, change default passwords and keep firmware updated.
